We all know that Heathrow is a busy airport but did you see it first thing this morning the day after the Fly ban was withdrawn? It was a sight for sure!
On a more serious note it is great news that the ban has been lifted now, but the chaos is not yet at an end. Personally, I am just about caught up with my own passengers. They are all sorted with safe passage home by one means or another, but some are still out in foreign parts with a few days yet before they will be repatriated.
It is a logistical nightmare for all concerned but the we are getting there and hopefully normal service will be resumed over the next few days. If you know of anyone stuck in the world with no help at hand, why not get them to contact me and I will see if I can help them too.
The next big question on everyone's lips is why oh why were the clients not insured for this eventuality, or any act of God at all? Surely this is what we all pay insurance for. Here lies an opportunity for some company to profit big time from introducung the first UK travel insurance product that does cover "Acts of God".
